This two hour, 40 mile round trip excursion on the Seadoo GTS is ideal for all ages (30 lbs and up).
As we leave the marina you will see boats from 12' dinghys to 60' yachts. Once out of the protected harbor, we're on our way. Let's give it some gas!
Your experience begins on the docks of Anchor Marina, where you will receive professional and courteous service from the moment you step out of your car. First things first...you will be given safety instructions for the proper use of the Jet Ski (PWC). Everyone will be given a FREE bottle of water for their journey. Then down to the dock we go for operating instructions.
Once we get everyone acquainted to their PWC it's time to hit the water. As we leave the marina you will see boats from 12' dinghys to 60' yachts. Once out of the protected harbor, we're on our way. Let's give it some gas!
As we approach Historic Little River, we'll slow down to idle speed through the NO WAKE zone to check out a variety of boats including shrimp boats, fishing trawlers, and even a couple of HUGE casino boats.
After about 15-20 minutes of serenity on one of the uninhabited barrier islands, it's time to get up close and personal with the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin!
That's enough of that going slow thing, let's go! Back to full speed and on our way to Sunset Beach. Your guide will offer a narrative on the history of the area. Then we ride through a winding little creek called Bonaparte Creek, tides permitting, with lots of twists and turns to pump up your adrenaline. Now that your adrenaline is pumped, let's take a break on one of the uninhabited barrier islands.
Once on an island, you can explore the 30 foot tall sand dunes, but steer clear of the dune grass. It is very important to the eco system of the dunes and illegal to break. Or, you can stroll along the ocean searching for that special shell to take home. After about 15-20 minutes of serenity on the island, it's time to get back on our skis and head out to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, the up close and personal encounter with the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin!
You will be able to see these most respected, aquatic mammals in their natural habitat. They will come out of the water right out from under your jet ski, sometimes so close you'll even get splashed!
Your guide will lead the way out to a local shrimp boat so that you can observe the shrimp boat captain and crew at work. If the conditions are right, the captain may toss a bag of creatures, (small sharks, shrimp, crabs, jellyfish, and other weird stuff) pulled up in the nets to the guide, who will then pass the bag around to all so that everyone has a chance to see. The dolphins follow the shrimp boats for free meals.
If and once your guide has found the dolphins, you will be able to see these most respected, aquatic mammals in their natural habitat. We ask that you be respectful, as they will come out of the water right out from under your jet ski, sometimes so close you'll even get splashed!
